Your look, your choice
Natural or fuller?
Both can be beautiful. The right one is the one that suits you.
Some women want a whisper of change that nobody can name. Others want lips that are noticeably fuller. Dr. Tessa will show you what she sees, and you decide together.
A soft refresh
Natural
A little shape, a little hydration, a softer look. Lips that look like yours on a very good day. A lovely place to start if it’s your first time.
Often chosen for: first-timers · thin or fading lips · fine lip lines
More presence
Fuller
More visible volume and a fuller pout, still balanced to your face. Built gradually, up to one syringe per visit, so the result stays elegant.
Often chosen for: more volume · a rounder lower lip · a fuller upper lip
Start soft. You can always add more.

Both “after” photos were taken immediately after treatment. Most patients love their lips so much they never come back for an after photo. Swelling settles over the following days, and lips usually come down about 25% from what you see here. Beauty Spot patients, shared with permission. Individual results vary.
Lip filler at Beauty Spot
What does lip filler do?
Lip filler is a soft gel placed into and around the lips. Most modern lip fillers are made from hyaluronic acid, a sugar your skin already makes to hold on to moisture.
Placed with care, it can add shape, definition and fullness, and help lips look smoother and more hydrated. Over time, your body gradually breaks it down.
Dr. Tessa will tell you exactly what she recommends for your lips, and why, at your consultation.
Softer. Fuller. Still unmistakably yours.
What lip filler can help with
- ShapeA softer curve to the upper lip and a fuller, rounder lower lip.
- SoftnessLips that look and feel soft and natural, never stiff, drawn on or overdone.
- BalanceUpper and lower lips in better proportion to each other, and to your face.
- SymmetryA more even look where one side sits a little differently from the other.
- HydrationLips that look smoother and more hydrated, with fine lip lines softened.
When volume really is the goal
Filler-light everywhere else.
Lips are the exception.
At Beauty Spot, most of the face is lifted, not filled. When the cheeks or smile lines need help, Dr. Tessa reaches for Botox and threads first.
But lips are different. When what you want is more lip volume, filler has its place. It’s the one area where adding is exactly the point.
The art is in how much, and where. A little in the right place can do more than a lot in the wrong one.
Up to one syringe per visit.
Dr. Tessa’s goal is simple: you, just better. So she places up to one syringe per visit. It gives your lips time to settle and adapt, and gives you time to enjoy your new shape before deciding on more.
Most women love their lips after that first visit and don’t want more. If you’d like to go fuller, she’ll build it gradually, one visit at a time, with her guidance.
She always respects what you want, within what still looks natural and like you. Never fake. Never overdone.
The lips people notice for the right reasons: soft, hydrated, beautifully shaped. The kind that make friends say “you look amazing” without ever guessing why. Never overfilled. Never duck-shaped.
One visit at a time. Always still you.
Is it right for you?
For lips that could use
a little more.
Lip filler is often a lovely fit if your lips have always been on the thinner side, if they’ve lost some fullness or definition over time, or if you’d simply like them softer and more balanced.
It’s also for you if you’ve been curious for years but worried about looking “done.” That’s exactly the conversation Dr. Tessa likes to have.
She’ll go over your health history at your consultation. If lip filler isn’t right for you, or not right now, she’ll tell you.
Honest advice first. Treatment second.
Add to the same visit
Make the most
of your lip visit.
Two easy add-ons Dr. Tessa can do at your lip filler appointment, if they suit you.
Botox · the lip flip
A little more lip when you smile
A few units of Botox relax the muscle around the mouth, so the upper lip rolls out softly and shows a little more when you smile. A lovely partner to filler.
PDO threads · the lip border
A crisp, defined edge
Fine threads along the lip line for a crisp, defined border that helps your new shape look neat and polished.
One visit. Your best lips.

Your appointment
Simple, start to finish.
Consultation
Consultation and treatment, all in one visit. Dr. Tessa looks at your lips with the rest of your face, listens to what you want, and shows you what she’d suggest. You’ll get your price before anything is done, and treatment can happen the same visit.
Comfort
Your lips are numbed first, so treatment is as comfortable as possible.
Placement
Dr. Tessa places the filler herself, up to one syringe per visit, in small, careful amounts, checking shape and balance as she goes.
The mirror
You’ll see a difference right away. Some swelling is normal at first. Over the following days your lips settle, usually about 25% softer than they look in the mirror that day.
Aftercare
Some swelling, tenderness or bruising is common and usually settles within a few days. Lips can look their fullest on day one or two, then soften into their final shape over about two weeks.
For the first day, you’ll be asked to skip strenuous exercise and avoid pressing or massaging your lips. Dr. Tessa will give you detailed aftercare instructions before you leave.
And you’re never on your own: you can text Dr. T with questions while you heal.
Big event coming up? Book lip filler at least two weeks before any special occasion, to allow for swelling and possible bruising.
How long results last
Many people enjoy their lips for around six months to a year. Timing varies from person to person. Individual results vary.

FAQ
Lip filler questions, answered.
Visiting from Fallston, Forest Hill or Abingdon? We're on Baltimore Pike in Bel Air, a short drive from anywhere in Harford County.
How much is lip filler at Beauty Spot?
Our pricing is competitive, and it depends on your lips and the look you want. Dr. Tessa gives you your exact price at the start of your visit, before anything is done, and nothing happens until you say yes.
Will my lips look overdone?
No. The goal is that no one can tell you had anything done. Just soft, hydrated, natural-looking lips that suit your face. Never overfilled, never duck-shaped. And with up to one syringe per visit, you can always add more later.
How much filler will I get in one visit?
Up to one syringe. It gives your lips time to settle and adapt, and most women love their result after one visit. If you’d like to go fuller, Dr. Tessa builds it gradually over more visits, always keeping it natural and you.
Can I add anything else at the same visit?
Yes. Many patients add a Botox lip flip, so the upper lip shows a little more when they smile, or PDO threads along the lip line for a crisp, defined border. Dr. Tessa will tell you whether either suits you.
Does lip filler hurt?
Your lips are numbed first. Most people feel pinches and pressure rather than pain, and Dr. Tessa goes at your pace.
How long does swelling last?
Swelling is usually most noticeable for the first day or two, and lips settle into their final shape over about two weeks. Bruising can happen. If you have a big event coming up, book at least two weeks ahead.
How long does lip filler last?
Many people enjoy their lips for around six months to a year. It varies by person, by how much is placed, and by how quickly your body breaks it down. Individual results vary.
I’ve never had filler. Is a first visit different?
Consultation and treatment, all in one visit. Dr. Tessa explains what she sees and what she’d suggest, answers every question, and you decide together. Treatment can happen the same visit. If you’d like time to think, that’s fine too.
I’ve had lip filler somewhere else. Can you help?
Yes. Dr. Tessa looks at what’s already there before she suggests anything, and she’ll tell you honestly whether more filler is the right next step.
